How to allow others to contact you through the site.
As of Kete 1.2, users may opt to be contactable through a Kete site. Here's how to turn it on for your account:
- login
- click on your name in the "menu" bar to the left of "Logout"
- this will take you to your account profile, click "edit"
- check the "Allow Emails from other users" box and click "Save"
Now other site users will see a "contact" link when they view your profile. Clicking on this will present them with a form that they can fill out and the contents will be sent to you as an email without giving the other user your email address.
You will, however, get their email address and can respond to them directly via normal email after that.
