Plese add to the agenda Kete compliance with e-government guidelines and web standards

I've had some offline discussions with various people about implementing OpenID (http://openid.net/what/) support in Kete. The most recent comment I got was "hold on for the moment". I'm curious what people in the Kete think about OpenID support and whether there are alternatives in development that the Kete community should consider.

OpenID no brainer - just a part of the should be theres
NZ Goverment standards - irrelevant - they are a bit facile - and misdirected in places
Much more important is validation - currently the CSS and HTML does not validate at w3.org - if the pages validate then there is a high chance they will meet SSC requirements - if that matters to you

Hi there,
I have been giving some thought to the future governance of the Kete project. I have drawn up a rough diagram of how enhancements to the code could be funded and incorporated into the main trunk. Would welcome thoughts and discussion.
cheers Jo.
