Details of the 2009 meeting in Wellington at the Oriental Bay Community Centre Rotunda Room on November 25th.
Update: Due to demand, we have changed locations for the meeting to Oriental Bay Community Centre Band Rotunda Room. Details below.
The Kete Community Meeting is a gathering for those that use the Kete open source software, those that are considering using it for their projects, or anyone that wants to know more about Kete.
The meeting helps existing and planned Kete projects coordinate their efforts and share stories of what has worked for them as well as the obstacles they have encountered.
The agenda is set collaboratively using Kete itself. Come shape it at Agenda for the November 2009 Kete Community Meeting.
Usually the meetings include an introduction for those new to Kete, case study presentations, and discussions about the project's governance, etc. Everyone is welcome at all the sessions, but you are also free to pick and choose what you would like to attend.
The meeting will be in the Band Rotunda Room, 245B Oriental Parade, Oriental Bay with a break for lunch.
There is no registration fee, but we recommend a koha of $15 to help out with the cost of the room as well as the morning and afternoon teas. Lunch will not be provided, but there are cafés close at hand as well as the beach.
Please RSVP to walter -at- katipo dot co do nz.
The Kete project would like to thank Wellington City Libraries for previously offering the use of their facilities. The meeting is timed to be right after the National Digital Forum (http://ndf.natlib.govt.nz/) for NDF participants convenience.
