Kete Evaluation - A Student Perspective

As a Victoria University Master of Information Studies student I recently had the opportunity to work with the Tauranga City Library's Kete team. During this time I was able to observe some of the ways that Kete can be of value to libraries and to their communities.

The attached document is an evaluation of some of the values and potentials that paticipative library services like Kete can have for libraries and their communities, using Tauranga Memories in particular as an example.  Three broad categories have been identified - Preservation, Inclusion and Connection.
