Topic: Implemented Enhancement: change "view this item" to "item details"
Topic type:
Small change to item detail pages. The text in the "view this item" tab would change.
I received some feedback that the "view this item" text confuses users expecting it to be a download link when viewing video or document detail pages. I propose that we change the text to "item details" to help clarify that it is meant to show where you are.
Of course, in 1.3, every site will be able to change this text to whatever they want, if they so choose, but it seems valuable to have the default be more intuitive.
Thoughts?
I'll probably sneak this tiny change into 1.2, if no one protests.
Update: this change has been made and will be in the 1.2 release.

Hi,
Yes it is possible for Kete site administrators to do batch uploads. There are a couple different ways to do it:
- use the "Related Items > Import Set" link from a topic page to upload a zip (or tar) file that contains a folder of items to be made related items to the topic
- user the Basket Tools > Importers link to do more sophisticated batch imports based on an XML file that describes the records you want to import within a folder that contains another folder with any supporting binary files (images, documents) that correspond to a field in the XML, this may take programmer interaction to get set up the first time and you also have to copy the materials to the server through normal network copying. This is meant to support thousands of records.
